Bionic Commando

Bionic Commando is like many of those games out there that don’t have much respect for the powers and abilities of a PC. Always depending on options for console like controls, few graphics options that are really ridiculous make this game something not liked enough in the controls and graphics department atleast. However, even someone who is willing to overlook the failures of the game with regards to the aforementioned ideas, there is still a good effort needed to stay with this thing for the initial first hour as you go about understanding the mechanics and rules of this game. If you’re playing with a mouse and keyboard, you’ll also need to work around the onscreen button prompts, which assume you’re playing with an Xbox 360 controller.

Apart from this, although there are some well designed action scenes, they won’t be worth the effort with the lousy weapons at your disposal. Pistols are worse than what you will experience in most other games due to the sound and visual feedback you receive when a bullet leaves the barrel – or was it a peanut?

However, the boss fights get a bit interesting with the ability to fling boulders, walls and such objects around allowing for a freedom from the weapons. Along with that, some other actions which are not very common elsewhere are fun to try out in this game. This shooter game is nothing worth craving for. However, it still gives you some good time, although you could do well without that money spent.
